Supplies

  • Heavy-weight 12" x 12" white paper
  • 12" sheer ribbon (1½" width)
  • Darice's acetate sheet
  • Aleene's Tacky white glue or double-sided tape
  • 2½" word rubber stamp
  • 2" x 1" rubber stamp
  • Watercolor pencils
  • Floral design rubber brayer or small flower rubber stamp
  • Paper hole puncher
  • Darice's SK01 sack template
  • Rainbow ink stamp pad
  • Black waterproof ink stamp pad
  • Pencil 
  • Scissors
  • Bone folder
  • Coluzzle's square template, cutting blade and mat
  • Small paint brush

Directions

  1. Using the sack template, trace the shape on the back of the 12x12 paper. Cut out bag.
  2. Use floral brayer/stamp and rainbow ink pad to decorate outside of sack. After ink is dry, trace fold lines (shown on template) with bone folder.
  3. Cut out a 2½" square opening in the front of the bag using the Coluzzle template, blade and mat. Glue a 3" square piece of acetate behind the cut out opening.
  4. Fold the bag and glue down the tabs. Punch holes in the upper flap through all layers. String ribbon through holes and tie know.
  5. Stamp word and bear design on scrap paper with black ink. Color in designs with watercolor pencils and brush over colors with water.
  6. Cut out word and bear designs and glue onto bag.
