Supplies

  • 1 qty. 1.5” x 3” Cardstock – you color choice
  • 1 qty. 1.75 X 1.75” Printed paper – coordinating colors Meriken Double Stick Tape #30013283

Tools

  • Pencil
  • Ruler
  • Sharp Scissors

Directions

  1. Take the 1.5” x 3” cardstock and place in front of you. Use the pencil to lightly mark off the midpoint along the bottom edge. Take the top left corner and the top right corner and fold down to the bottom midpoint edge. Crease well. You should now have a triangle shape pocket.
  2. Take the 1.75” x 1.75” printed paper square and cut in half diagonally to create two small triangles. Center a triangle on either side of the cardstock triangle and adhere with double stick tape.
  3. You can add other “flat” embellishments to the triangles as you like.
  4. To use as a bookmark, slip onto the corner of the book’s page to mark where you stopped reading.
